Friday Night Date with Rebel from Dance For Me

Hi, guys and welcome to a new blog feature called Friday Night Date! This feature will be hosted once a month on a Friday, here on In My Secret -Book- World were I will be interviewing one of our most loved book boyfriends.

This month, my date is Rebel from the Forbidden Trilogy by J.C. Valentine. He's an alpha male through and through, and one you would love to hate but can't really help it when he's always turning you on and reducing you to a puddle of goo. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, he is that hot. Don't believe me? Check out our date below and you'll see.

Hi, Rebel, and thank you so much for agreeing to this date with me! You've been such a mysterious character and we all would love to get to know you better.

Let's start with something a little easy. How would Josephine describe you? Do you think it's an accurate description?

I would imagine she’d say something along the lines of devastatingly handsome, sexy, swoon worthy, sex-on-a stick. You know, the obvious. Obviously, I agree with that assessment. *grins*

What is the one thing about you that you would say is a bad quality?

Hmm. My knee-jerk reaction is to claim none, but of course everyone has at least one, right? I guess I’d say mine is being a tad possessive. What’s mine is mine and I dare anyone to try and take it.

The first book, Dance For Me, left us all with lots of thoughts and mixed feelings, but I'm dying to know what you thought when you saw Joe in your bathroom.

*Chuckles* That was quite a night wasn’t it? Well, my first thought was damn, because the last thing I was expecting to see was my girl standing there looking like a walking wet dream. Then I got seriously pissed when it dawned on me who she must have been there with and why. See, this all comes back around to that whole possessive thing.

Alright, I think that's enough serious talk. Let's move on to something fun. Or awkward. What was your first sexual experience like?

Sex is always fun. *Winks* My first sexual experience was horrifically awkward. I was, what? Fourteen? Yeah, fourteen. It was with this girl that I was seriously into at the time. Even at that age she had an amazing rack and this ass that wouldn’t quit. Anyway, her parents were having a date night, so we were alone, and one thing led to another. Let me just say this. When you put to inexperienced kids together, naked, in the dark, nothing goes right. There were a lot of hits and misses, if you know what I mean, crying. It was just…bad. But, hey, practice makes perfect.

I would ask what the worst thing somebody walked in you doing is, but I know you're a pretty shameless guy, so what's the worst thing you walked in on someone doing? Something you never wanted to see?

Oh, man. *laughs* Well, growing up, my parents always had an open door policy. Bad dreams, upset stomach, what have you, us boys were always welcome to come to them for comfort. Well, this one night it was storming like crazy and being just a kid, I was scared. So I went to my parents’ room to see if I could sleep with them, but they weren’t exactly sleeping. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that seeing your parents going at it like a couple of teenagers is not something you want imprinted on your memory. I still wake up in a cold sweat on stormy nights.

Tell us about your sexiest dream, or a naughty fantasy you have.

I’m a guy who likes to experiment. Nothing too freaky, but there’s this one thing I’ve been thinking about trying. Have you ever heard of temperature play? It involves a little light bondage and hot and cold items like wax, ice, fire, et cetera that help to amplify arousal. Josephine would be sexy as hell tied to my bed and covered in hot wax, don’t you think?

What's a complete turn off for you?

Dishonesty. I don’t tolerate it in any aspect of my life, which is why you won’t ever hear me censoring myself. I believe in telling it like it is.

This question usually weirds guys out, but I have to ask it, do you ever wonder what being a woman is like? How would you react if one day you woke up and found yourself with completely different body parts?

I entertained the idea of being a woman once, but honestly, I don’t know that I’d have the strength to deal with half the crap you all deal with on a day to day basis. Childbirth alone is enough to make me thankful I was born a man. That being said, if I woke up one morning a woman, I’d spend a hell of a lot of time getting acquainted with my new body. So much so I’d probably lose my job and end up in the poor house, but it would be totally worth it.

Do you have a pet peeve?

Not really. I try not to get close enough to anyone to find something I like or dislike about them.

What was your childhood like?

The best. Aside from my brother tagging along on my heels everywhere I went, I can’t complain. I was popular, especially with the girls, and had a lot of friends. My parents were great. *shrugs*

If you could commit a crime and get away with it, what would it be?

Not that I’m some Robin Hood type, but I’d love to clear out every uptight, rich snot’s wallet that I’ve run into in my line of work and spread the wealth.

We're at the end of the first part of our date. Time has flown by so fast and this is your last chance to ask me anything you want.

I can’t help noticing that this isn’t the first interview you’ve done with a guy like me, which makes me curious. How many book boyfriends do you currently have? Don’t worry. I won’t ask you to choose your favorite, because we all know who it would be. *grins*

HA! Way to put me on the spot. Thanks for that, Rebel. I'd be lucky if I get any more dates after this, but honestly, I have no idea. I know there are many -really, how is a girl supposed to help it when there are so many hot and amazing guys prancing around? I tried making a list once, but that list turned to two, then three and then four and I had to stop.

Alright, now is time for the part we all love, Quickies!

Boxers or briefs?

In a pinch, briefs, but I prefer commando.

Beer or scotch?

Cars or women?

Definitely women.

Ice cream or chocolate?

Chocolate. It tastes better when I’m licking it off a body part.

Pop or rock?

Football or soccer?

Blond or brunette?

What, no raven haired beauties? Tsk tsk.

NYC or LA?

I prefer Chicago, but NYC is good too.

Boobs or butt?

Leather or lace?

Chicken or steak?

Tub or shower?

Thank you so much, Rebel. This has been an amazing date, and I'm so glad you took the time to go out with me!

For those of you who haven't met Rebel before or read the Forbidden Trilogy, you can find my reviews of it here and here and you can enter the giveaway below to win the first book.

About Dance for Me:
WARNING: Dance for Me is the first book in a trilogy and ends with a cliffhanger. Due to mature material, it is recommended for ages 17+.
What if the person who stole your heart wasn't who you thought they were?

When my parents passed away, I grew up fast. Learning to stand on my own two feet has been a challenge, but I'm making it... my way. I make no apologies for the path I've chosen.

My choices have served me well, but no one knows the real me.
Except one man.
He's a mystery to me. He's controlling, demanding, and he has me wrapped around his little finger. Anything he wants, I'll give it to him. The hours we share together aren't about love. It's just sex. Hot, dirty, passionate sex. It was never supposed to be anything more than that.
Until everything changed.
Now, I'm more confused than ever. The more I learn about him, the less I seem to understand. What I do know is that I'm falling, and I have the feeling when I land, it's going to hurt.
