Blog Tour: Tyrant by T.M. Frazier (Review + Excerpt + Giveaway)

King and Pup are back in this exciting conclusion to the King Series by T.M. Frazier releasing August 17th!
Blurb: I. Remember. Everything.

Only now I wish I didn't.

When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.

But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I'm more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King's bed.

Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.

I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.

I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.

He's already saved me in more ways than one. Now it's my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.

Even if that means marrying someone else...

My Thoughts:

After reading the first book, I was left hanging with so many questions and even more suspicions and theories of what was going to happen, who was the bad guy and how King and Pup were going to survive everything and still be together. I was terrified of reading Tyrant because of this and so, when I woke up and found this book on my kindle app waiting for me, I was so excited but couldn't find the courage to click on it and start reading, even though I was dying to know what was coming next.

It wasn't until hours later that curiosity got the better of me and I started it and oh my gosh, I could not put it away. Tyrant picks up right where King left off, with King being hauled off in a police car and Pup whisked off by her family. There are so many things in the way of King and Pup, her past life, his enemies and the people they care about. There was no pause in this book. Things were already happening from the first page, and they just kept happening until the last page. Both Pup and King were fighting their own battles and emotions were running high. I found myself clutching the screen of my phone while reading as I felt Pups turmoil over her old life and the family she was born into or the life with the family she chose. King was fighting on two fronts, and even though it felt like things could never go right for him or Pup, or that obstacles just kept getting in his way, he always found a way to get rid of everything standing in his way. It's the thing that I love most about him, the fact that he would never let anything keep him away from what he wanted and that he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty for the case of what was his. While being the mean badass we all love, he didn't stop being swoon-worthy in that hard and bad way of his. He never ceased to make things hot whenever he was in the picture, turning me into a whimpering hot mess that I couldn't help but fan myself to cool down.

I liked Pup more than before in this book. She was strong and she was ready to fight. She may be mad at King for what he did, rightfully so since I wanted to kick his fine butt myself, but she was ready to do anything for him and for a chance at life together. While King was out there fighting his enemies, she was fighting her demons and to gain her memory so she could finally stop wondering about her old life and who she could trust. And my god did things change when she finally gained her memory. I think I stopped reading for like five minutes and then had to go back and reread the whole previous chapter because of what was revealed. I can honestly say that it took me completely by surprise and I'm usually great at predicting things but I had no clue and Tyrant left me gaping at the pages and in chock. I loved it. Loved every second of it and loved the ending. It was so perfect and it left me in tears. Now I'm dying for Bears' book, and I think it's going to be amazing too.
