My Thoughts:

I really liked this book! It's a combination of an emotional read and a steamy, fun one. It was easy to get into and though, some parts of the past of the MCs were kept hidden and only hinted at until the second half of the book, I had no problem with connecting with the book, and it only kept me guessing and coming back for more.

Summer and Carrie Ann dated for two years in college and they lived a dream, until Summer was injured and lost his football career and their lives took a turn for the bad and they parted ways with heavy hearts and much pain. Now, ten years later, Summer still hasn't given up the chance to win Carrie Ann back, even though she's always rejected him whenever he tried. When the two of them get stuck in a Montana cabin in a bad storm, their attraction is as strong as ever and its impossible for Carrie Ann to keep denying what both her heart and body demand. With nowhere to go, the two have to face what they'd been running from for such a long time.

I wasn't a huge fan of Carrie Ann. She annoyed me a lot and had me shaking my head at her in frustration pretty much throughout the whole book. She was keeping secrets from Summer and yet she blamed him for pretty much everything. It made me really angry. She knew what she wanted and yet she just kept stringing Summer along and I disliked her for it. Summer was another story. I really liked the man. He knew what he wanted and he went after it. He didn't give up, and he fought for what he wanted. He was also sweet, sexy and had a mouth that can make anyone and everyone blush. I loved him and his protective streak that just made me swoon.

Even though I didn't like Carrie Ann, and was annoyed by her pretty the whole time, I loved her relationship with Summer. I'm a sucker for second-chance romances and Summer and Carrie Ann had a big load of attraction and sexual chemistry that just kept me reading. It was sexy and heart-breaking at the same time, so for those looking for something a little stronger than a simple easy and fun read for the summer, this book is for you.
