Hi, everyone, and welcome to my stop on the All I've Never Wanted by Ana Haung blog tour! The tour is hosted by the amazing YA Bound Book Tours, and you can check out the schedule here to follow along for more fun!

All I've Never Wanted
by Ana Huang
Release Date: 06/15/15

Summary from Goodreads:

The Scions were the four richest, most powerful guys at Valesca Academy, and they ruled the school with iron fists. Everyone wanted to date them or be them...everyone, that is, except Maya Lindberg, who just wanted to avoid them until she could graduate.

She almost succeeded, until an ill-advised outburst on her part put her right in the Scions' path. Just like that, one became her fake boyfriend, one her unwanted matchmaker, one her guardian angel, and the one she couldn't stand the most? Yeah, he's her new housemate.

A Young Adult romantic comedy that explores what happens when a girl gets everything she never asked for, including a puppy, a new wardrobe, and, possibly, even true love.

My Thoughts:

I liked this book. It was fun and easy to read and get into. All I've Never Wanted is about Maya, a girl that gets into a prestige school and doesn't want to get noticed by anyone, and to stay away from the rulers of the school, the four richest and handsomest guys, the Scions. She almost succeeds, until one wrong move and an outburst at one party lands her right in their line of sight.

I had fun reading this book. Even though, it was a bit unrealistic, I was entertained by it. In the beginning, Maya hated the notorious Scions, and she wanted nothing to do with them. They were flashy and people worshipped the ground they walked on, but they didn't adopt anyone into their group easily, or at all. And then when they noticed Maya, she became a part of their group really fast. It didn't strike me as something that would happen in real life.  Granted, she was fake-dating one of them, but she also had no problem with accepting them and being part of their group when she couldn't stand them just a few days earlier. I thought she would be a bit wary of them and that it would take some time for her to start liking them or being good friends with them since they just a week ago bullied her.

The Scions were a different story. Even though they weren't above bullying students or flaunting their money and power around, I found them to be childish, or at least three of them. Nonetheless, I actually liked them and found myself smiling a lot over their silliness. They all had different personalities, one the silent and brooding type, one a player, one a musician, and the leader, Roman, was arrogant beyond reason. Or in the beginning at least. I hated him when I first started the book, but as I read more, I actually felt sorry for him. Maya wasn't the street smart type of girl, and when things were so obvious and kind of staring in her in the face, she didn't get it, though I did like how hard it made Roman work to get her. It kind of made up for everything else he did.

This book is a great summer read, it's funny and easy to read, and even though it's not something many can relate to, it's still entertaining and will keep you reading.
